Another major outlet has released their Top 100 Portal Players rankings now that the one window in college football has closed. CBS Sports released theirs this weekend ranking, what they believe to be, the Top 100 players in the portal and where they landed. Notre Dame had four players named on this list that came to South Bend and one that departed and headed to Lexington.
No. 18 - DT Tionne Gray, Oregon
"An absolute avalanche of a human being estimated at 6-foot-6 and north of 330 pounds," Cooper Petagna of CBS Sports said. "Gray brings a rare blend of size and athleticism to the interior of Marcus Freeman's defensive line. After logging fewer than 250 snaps as a redshirt freshman in Eugene, the St. Louis native should have no shortage of opportunities to make his presence felt in South Bend."
No. 45 - WR Quincy Porter, Ohio State
"A former five-star in the Class of 2025," Petagna stated. "Porter brings a much-needed combination of size and athleticism to Notre Dame's receiving room following the departure of Malachi Fields. While his snaps were limited during his lone season in Columbus, there's plenty of impact-ready talent in the former Buckeye."
No. 53 - DT Francis Breuw, Pitt
"Brewu joins Oregon transfer Tionne Gray on Notre Dame's defensive line, giving the Fighting Irish two of the most coveted front-seven prospects in the portal while providing new defensive line coach Charlie Partridge a true thunder-and-lightning pairing to challenge opposing offensive lines," explained Petagna.
No. 60 - DE Keon Keeley, Alabama
"The former No. 1 defensive prospect in the Class of 2023," Petagna said. "Keeley reunites with a familiar face in head coach Marcus Freeman as the former Notre Dame commit looks to build on the late-season momentum he showed in his final year at Alabama."
One Notre Dame transfer was listed on CBS Sports Top 100 ranking. Quarterback Kenny Minchey was listed as the No. 80 portal player after being picked up by Kentucky and new head coach Will Stein. Minchey lost the position battle last offseason to current starter CJ Carr. The Tennessee native has tons of talent and potential and is a strong fit in Stein's offense down in Lexington.
Two Fighting Irish opponents had players listed on CBS Sport's rankings as well. BYU linebacker Cade Uluave from California was named the No. 64 overall portal player in the 2026 cycle. The Miami Hurricanes, who square off with the Irish on November 7 had a grand total of six portal players listed including edge rusher Damon Wilson (No. 8), quarterback Darien Mensah (No. 16), defensive lineman Keona Davis (No. 83), wide receiver Cooper Barkate (No. 89), wide receiver Vandrevious Jacobs (No. 90) and safety Omar Thornton (No. 92).
This is the second Top 100 portal players rankings that have come out in the last 48 hours and in both CBS Sport's and ESPN's rankings, Notre Dame defensive line transfer Josh Burnham has not been listed. The talented and productive edge player for the Irish continues to be one of the most underrated portal pickups in this cycle for the Indiana Hoosiers.
his is also the second straight ranking that didn't have wide receiver Mylan Graham ranked in the Top 100. Graham will join Porter in South Bend for the 2026 season. The Indiana native caught six passes for 93 yards this past season for the Buckeyes and was slightly more productive than the 6-4, 210-pound boundary prospect.
