Irish hopefuls showcase skills and test for NFL scouts. Quarterback CJ Carr to throw, aiming to boost draft stock. Streamed exclusively on Peacock.

Today, Notre Dame officially set the time for their Pro Day. It will take place on Tuesday, March 24 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM inside of the Irish Athletics Center. This event will exclusively be streamed on Peacock. They'll begin with testing and drills and will feature position drills during the live streaming window. The hosts of Notre Dame's Pro Day will be Tony Simone, the radio voice of Notre Dame football, former Fighting Irish quarterback Ian Book and Caroline Pineda

This is the final opportunity for all Notre Dame draft hopefuls to make an impression on the NFL coaches and personnel that will be in attendance. It's unlikely we will see running backs Jeremiyah Love or Jadarian Price participate in much capacity outside of Price trying to improve his 4.49 official 40-yard dash time he posted at the NFL Combine down in Indianapolis a few weeks ago.

Pass catchers Eli Raridon and Malachi Fields will be participating along with offensive lineman Aamil Wagner and Billy Schrauth who will be participating in the testing this go-round. Those four will have the opportunity to improve their draft stock similar to what former running back Audric Estime did during his Pro Day prior to the 2024 NFL Draft.

There's also a handful of players we did not get to see at the NFL Combine that we'll likely see during Notre Dame's Pro Day. On the offensive side of the ball, former Fighting Irish captain and receiver Will Pauling will get to showcase his abilities and put up some gaudy testing numbers along the way.

Defensively, there's a host of former Notre Dame players that will participate. Defensive lineman Jared Dawson and Gabriel Rubio will perform during their Pro Day. I'm looking forward to seeing the testing numbers Dawson, the former Louisville transfer, puts up on March 24. In the secondary, we'll also have a chance to see nickel corner DeVonta Smith and safety Jalen Stroman perform at Notre Dame's Pro Day.

Due to the new rule that's been passed, underclassman are now allowed to participate in Pro Days across the country. IB has heard intel that quarterback CJ Carr will be throwing to Fields, Pauling and Raridon during the positional drills. This ultimately kills two birds with one stone. First, it gives the three pass catchers a familiar face to catch passes from and someone they already have an established relationship with. This will also give the preseason Heisman favorite an opportunity to showcase what he can do, in person, in front of several NFL coaches and scouts.

We're still two weeks out from Notre Dame's Pro Day and 45 days away from the 2026 NFL Draft. Like many NFL organizations have come to learn, drafting players from South Bend ultimately ends up being a smart decision. It's likely at least five to six players get drafted from Notre Dame. Hopefully, their Pro Day will vault some other players up into consideration.
