The 13th-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish (4-2) square off against the 20th-ranked USC Trojans this weekend in what could be the final installment of this storied rivalry. Both teams are hoping to pick up a huge Playoff resume building win. Notre Dame is looking for its fifth straight win and first win over a ranked opponent.

Location: Notre Dame Stadium (Notre Dame, Ind.)
    Date: Saturday, October 18
    Time: 7:30 PM ET
    Network: NBC/Peacock
    Line: Notre Dame -8.5; O/U: 61.5

Notre Dame has released its depth chart for this matchup.

    NOTRE DAME OFFENSE

*** There is a significant change to the depth chart this week after it was announced by head coach Marcus Freeman that center Ashton Craig was out for the season after suffering a torn ACL. With Craig out the starting center role will go to redshirt sophomore Joe Otting. This will be Otting's first career start.

*** Junior wide receiver Jaden Greathouse missed the last two games with a right thigh injury and he is still listed as questionable for this game. Greathouse is listed as the first slot receiver on the depth chart, but if he can't go this week, or if he's limited this week we will see transfer Will Pauling get another start at the position.

*** Redshirt freshman Micah Gilbert will miss this game with a hand injury that he suffered against NC State. With Gilbert out, classmate Cam Williams moved up to the No. 2 spot at the boundary receiver position behind starter Malachi Fields.

    NOTRE DAME DEFENSE

*** Nickel cornerback DeVonta Smith missed the win over NC State with a calf injury that he suffered during the win over Boise State. He is listed as questionable on the injury report this week, which is why he is listed as the starter this week after not being on the list last week. Dallas Golden started in his place and is now listed as the backup.

*** Notre Dame's defensive line depth chart on paper looks much different than it has on Saturdays. For example, Junior Tuihalamaka is listed behind Boubacar Traore, but he has started opposite Traore in the last two games. Gabriel Rubio is listed behind Jason Onye but they started side-by-side against Boise State. Rubio has also started the last four games, while Jared Dawson and Donovan Hinish have also started games next to Rubio.

*** Jaylen Sneed continues to be listed as the No. 1 at Will Linebacker, but junior Jaiden Ausberry has started the last four games at Will Linebacker.
