Fun fact of the day: Notre Dame is the only team ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 who has yet to play a non-power four opponent. Now, that will change this weekend when they host the Boise State Broncos but the vast majority of ranked teams have not been playing Boise State-caliber opponents in their non-power four games. This made me wonder where Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr truly ranked in the country amongst the top quarterbacks and the numbers don’t lie, the Michigan native is playing like a Top 5 quarterback in the country against P4 opponents.

Here is Carr’s stat line against P4 Opponents across four games (Miami, TAMU, Purdue, Arkansas).

Overall: 71-104, 68.3%, 1,091 yards, 9 TD, 2 INT; 1 rushing yard, 1 rushing TD
Passing Stats Per Game (Average): 18-26, 273 yards, 2 TD, 0.5 INT
