The Big Ten Championship has so many storylines, each of which is relevant on the national stage.
For the first time, No. 1 and No. 2 are playing in the Championship Game, while both teams set for a first-round bye. Can Indiana take that next step as a program, and does this game even matter?
These are just a couple of the questions that will be answered on Saturday Night, but it doesn't even include the biggest one: Will the Heisman Trophy be decided tonight?
Both quarterbacks that will be on display Saturday Night are playing amazing football. For Ohio State, redshirt freshman Julian Sayin has proven to be one of the most prolific passers in college football today and throughout college football history.
He finished the season completing a staggering 78 percent for 30 touchdowns to just five interceptions. Sayin has proven that he can get the job done in any scenario, and he is coming off his best performance of the year against the Michigan Wolverines.
He started the game 0-2 with an interception and proceeded to rip off 15 of the next 17 passes to get the game back into Ohio State's hands and roll to a comfortable victory.
With that performance, he answered the final question about him: did he have the guts to battle some adversity? The answer is a resounding yes.

Again, the main story of the day was not the huge football game on Saturday, it was the fallout from a chaotic National Signing Day. Ohio State wades through...
On the other side, Fernando Mendoza has taken college football by storm with his electric personality and his incredible play on the football field. There is not a throw that he can't make or a play that he can't convert.
Mendoza will beat you with his legs just as he'll beat you with his arm. He finished the year with a nearly identical stat line to Sayin. He is completing just 72 percent of his throws for 2,758 yards for 32 touchdowns against five interceptions.
The veteran playmaker has shown his ability to dig Indiana out of a hole, and he doesn't stop competing until the clock strikes zero.
Together, these two are the two best quarterbacks in college football. As it stands on Saturday morning, Mendoza is a slight favorite for the award as his odds are +170 while Sayin checks in at +190.
Saturday night in Indianapolis will be the final chapter in what has been an awesome season for both of these two quarterbacks. Whoever performs the best in this one will put themselves in the driver's seat to win the most prestigious individual award in college football.
