The only negative mark on Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day's career has been his well-documented struggles against the team up North. In the last three matchups, Day has fallen into the trap that Michigan has set for him.
He has tried to win the football game on Michigan's terms. He has repeatadly tried to win the game between the tackles instead of unleashing his great wide receivers to win the game through the air.
When asked about whether he felt it was necessary to win the rushing battle to win the football game, Day would give a simple response:
"Whatever it takes to win The Game."
In the past, he would have emphatically answered this as a yes, or at least would have played that style of football. Now, this year, he knows that his team is leagues better than the other team; they just need to show it over the course of 60 minutes on Saturday afternoon.
When thinking about this game, it is hard to drum up a scenario where the Buckeyes don't come out on top. If you look at these rosters position by position, you take the Buckeye at every single spot.

The only issue is that it was exactly the case going into last year's game, and everyone remembers the outcome. That Michigan team couldn't complete a forward pass, yet they beat the undisputed best team in the country.
Some things simply don't make any sense and can only be described as a rivalry weekend in college football.
There are two variables that are question marks for the Buckeyes heading into this one. The first is that Ohio State hasn't faced any real adversity this season since August, when they played Texas.
That was now three full months ago, and since then, Ohio State's average margin of victory is 40.3-7.7.
They are winning games by an average of five scores, and aside from two minutes in the Penn State game when they fumbled their way into a close first half, they haven't been challenged at all.
Saturday, however, will not be that way.
There will be times when the Buckeyes are going to have to dig deep and fight, and we don't know what they are made of when the chips are down.
We will find out.
Does Bryce Underwood Have a Chance Against Ohio State's Defense? | Jeremiah Smith Drops Good News
The Ohio State Buckeyes got great news on Tuesday when it was announced, by Jeremiah Smith himself, that he "should be" good to go on Saturday. That is huge ...
The second variable is the weather forecast. It is currently projected to be a high of 31 degrees with a 75 percent chance of snow. Quarterback Julian Sayin has never played in that type of environment, so we will discover how he handles the situation.
Ohio State is the better team this weekend; they have 60 minutes to prove it to them and to the world.
