It's Will Howard week on the airwaves as the former Buckeye quarterback got another nod of approval from an NFL legend, this time a former teammate.

Whether it was a calculated approach or a complete coincidence, former Ohio State Buckeyes' quarterback Will Howard received another nod of approval from an NFL legend. This time, it was from his teammate, Aaron Rodgers.

On Wednesday's Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers joined the boys and was noncommittal about his future, but did offer up some praise to the young signal caller.

"Will Howard has what it takes to have a long career in the league... I care about him and want him to be successful."

He continued by saying, "I'm excited for him to work with Mike McCarthy... I loved working with him, and he has a bright future."

There is a lot to unpack from those quotes, and the first is the admiration that Rodgers has for his teammate and future Hall-of-Fame teammate. Rodgers challenged Howard on a weekly basis to learn the ropes and learn how he would operate as the leader of the team.

The longtime veteran challenged Howard and put him in leadership roles so that he could learn what it takes at the NFL level.

Buckeye fans are no strangers to this, as they witnessed Howard come into Columbus as a total stranger to the program and take it back to the promised land. He has what it takes to lead a group of young men, and Rodgers believes that he has what it takes to lead a group of professionals.

The other part of these answers is what Rodgers said at the end. His comment about how much he "loved" working with him is enough to catch your attention. If there is one thing that we all know about Rodgers is that he does not mispeak. Everything that he says is intentional, and it is not different when it comes to something like this.

Now, this isn't him signaling retirement, but it might be him signaling to a new location. Either way, he sounds like he is moving on from Pittsburgh, and if so, the keys to the car should go to Howard.

If Rodgers does, in fact, hit the road and either join a new club or ride off into the sunset, the Steelers have a perfect year to experiment and find out what they have in the young Howard.

If they have a winner and a guy who has what it takes, then they will be all set. If they don't have it in him, then they will be primed for a high pick next year to take one of the plethora of quarterbacks that will be available.

Either way, it sounds like Howard might be getting his chance to take over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he has to vote of confidence from one of the greatest to ever throw a football, Aaron Rodgers.
