Jaxon Smith-Njigba took the NFL by storm on Conference Championship weekend.

The NFL's second most important weekend of the year was headlined by, you guessed it, a former Ohio State Buckeye.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba took over in their quest for the NFC Championship against the Los Angeles Rams. Smith-Njigba finished with 10 catches on 12 targets for 153 yards and a touchdown.

Smith-Njigba was so good on the biggest stage, and he really kind of took the night over and was the story of the game. Even after the year he had, many people acted surprised at his performance, everyone not from Seattle or Columbus at least.

This performance was the capper on what has been a near-flawless season. During the regular season, JSN caught 119 balls for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns. He had nine games with over 100 yards, 13 games with more than 90 yards, and only ONE game under 72 yards.

Standing at just 5-foot-11, he is definitely a top-5 wide receiver in the league and for my money, he is the best receiver in the game, especially this year.

What makes the former Buckeye so good is that he runs routes with surgical precision. He is a technical wizard in his route running and matches that with great speed, elite quickness, and elite hands. Some receivers can be so good at just one position on either the outside or in the slot, but not Smith-Njigba.

JSN can kill you from the slot, he can kill you from the outside, and he can even get you from the backfield.

His performance on Sunday night caught the attention of the GOAT, Tom Brady.

Brady, who was on the broadcast and couldn't stop complimenting the young star. He explained how he is such a killer in his route running because he has zero indicators on where he is going.

Smith-Njigba is doing all of this with the most pressure on him that he could possibly have. The Seahawks came into the year, and they made the decision as a franchise to move on from their wide receiver #1, DK Metcalf, to open the door for JSN.

JSN didn't just walk through; he sprinted through it and grabbed the opportunity and never let it go.

The Seahawks are in the Super Bowl because of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and he just needs to put one more performance together to etch his team in the history books forever.
