We have talked enough about the five potential first-round Ohio State Buckeyes, but what about the rest of the draft-eligible Buckeyes?
We have talked enough about the top five Ohio State Buckeyes who are going to be first-round picks. It is very likely that there will be four Buckeyes selected in the top-10; it's a guarantee that they will be picked in the top-15.
That's great, but what about the rest of the Buckeyes?
On Monday, ESPN analyst Matt Miller released his first seven-round mock draft, which is really the first full draft that we have seen.
Now, I will say that this is an impressive task and one that does take a lot of guts because he is going to be wrong way more times than he is right. Regardless, let's see where all of the other Buckeyes landed in a full seven-round mock draft.
Pick No. 38: Houston Texans Select Kayden McDonald
McDonald is typically seen at the end of the first round, but in this mock, he falls into the top of the second. Miller still has him landing with the Texans, a common landing spot, no matter if he is a first or second-round selection.
Pick No. 68: Philadelphia Eagles Select Max Klare
This is a massive win for both the Eagles and for Klare. Klare would get the opportunity here to become the heir apparent to Dallas Goedart, who signed a one-year contract during this offseason. Klare has the skills and the talent to have a long career in the NFL.
Pick No. 86: Los Angeles Chargers Select Davison Igbinosun
Igbinosun is a very fascinating prospect, and where he goes in the draft is going to be interesting. I expect him to be selected a little bit higher in the draft, but a third-round selection to join the Chargers isn't a horrible result.
Igbinosun joins a team that is trying to win, and he will be a key part of it for years to come.
Pick No. 171: New England Patriots Select Caden Curry
No Buckeyes get selected in the fourth round, and towards the bottom of the fifth, the Patriots pull the trigger on Curry, who was the leading sack getter for Ohio State in 2025. Curry joins a couple of other Buckeyes in New England on a team that was on the doorstep of being Super Bowl Champions.
Pick No. 176: Kansas City Chiefs Select Lorenzo Styles Jr.
The Chiefs lost special teams ace Skyy Moore to the San Francisco 49ers and immediately replaced him with Styles Jr. Styles is likely going to max out as a special teamer, but could grow into a contributor on the defensive side of the ball.
Any time you get the opportunity to add 4.26 speed to your team, you do it.
Pick 186: New York Giants Select Will Kacmarek
The Giants add to their tough football team with the selection of tight end Will Kacmarek. Kacmarek is an extension of the offensive line, as he is a total bulldozer as a blocker. He is a decent pass catcher, but his superpower is blocking in the run game.
Pick 223: Washington Commanders Select CJ Donaldson
Last but not least, Buckeyes transfer running back CJ Donaldson gets chosen at the start of the seventh round. Donaldson will have to make his mark as a special teams contributor before winning any running back jobs.
There will be Buckeyes in the first round all the way through the seventh round, and each team that picks one is picking a winner that will absolutely improve their franchise.
