Former Ohio State Buckeyes' star cornerback Davison Igbinosun has been selected by the Buffalo Bills in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Ohio State Buckeyes' exciting run in the 2026 NFL Draft has continued into the second round with the Buffalo Bills selecting cornerback Davison Igbinosun with the No. 62 pick.
Igbinosun, throughout his incredible college career, became a hot prospect in this year's draft class. After spending his first season with the Ole Miss Rebels, the star defensive back entered the transfer portal, and head coach Ryan Day was quick to bring Igbinosun to Columbus.
In his first season with the Buckeyes, the highly-touted defensive back recorded 59 tackles, five pass deflections, and 1.5 tackles for losses.
His outstanding showing as a sophomore was an exciting sign for his future with the program, as he would form a dynamic duo with fellow Ohio State defensive back Denzel Burke.
Following his 2023 campaign with the Buckeyes, Igbinosun continued to thrive as a junior, finishing the 2024 college football season with 45 tackles, nine pass deflections, and two interceptions.
Despite losing Burke to the NFL leading up to the 2025 season, the young playmaker still played at an elite level for the Buckeyes, racking up 53 tackles, eight pass deflections, and two interceptions to finish his college career.
Standing at 6-foot-2, 189 lbs., Igbinosun possesses an elite frame to become a true difference maker on defense at the NFL level. His aggressive style of play did lead to multiple penalties throughout his college career, but if he is able to limit the flags while simultaneously maintaining his aggressiveness, the sky is the limit.
Now, Igbinosun has an opportunity to become an excellent cornerback for the Bills in 2026 and beyond. Buffalo lost a key piece of their defensive back unit in Tre'Davious White, who was the team's top cornerback in 2025. Luckily for Igbinosun and the Bills, the addition of the stout defender will be a perfect combination with former 2025 first-round pick Maxwell Hairston.
