Ohio State Star Arvell Reese had a busy week after the Ohio State Pro Day on Wednesday.

Ohio State star edge rusher Arvell Reese had a busy couple of days around Ohio State's Pro Day on Wednesday.

Not only was every team in the NFL there to see how he tested, but some of them were also there to take him out to get to know him a little bit better.

It was announced on Thursday that Reese had dinner with three teams this week, the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints, to go along with an additional meeting with the New York Giants.

Most mock drafts to this point have Reese pretty consistently being the No. 2 overall pick in this draft. It is clear now that if, for whatever reason, the Jets overthink the pick and make a different selection, that Reese will not last beyond pick No. 8 at the latest.

Reese is a special talent already, with a ton of room to grow. In his first year of legitimate playing time for the Buckeyes, he showed that while he can play the off-ball linebacker position, he is way more natural at getting to the quarterback with his hand in dirt, rushing off the edge.

While both positions are valuable, getting home to the quarterback is one of the most coveted skills in the entire NFL.

The most impressive element of Reese's game was his speed-to-power rushing ability at just 243 pounds. It isn't out of the question to see Reese literally bench pressing 330-plus pound tackles into the lap of a quarterback.

If his power moves were defeated, he should have a growing ability to countermove. The counter move is usually something that comes with time and experience, and it will only get better for Reese as he grows into his new role.

The very likely and now more so obvious scenario is that Reese is playing his NFL football somewhere in New York. His home field is going to be MetLife Stadium, as both franchises share that building.

If something ridiculous happens and Reese falls from the top-5, there really isn't a world where Reese lasts till pick No. 8, but maybe the Saints just wanted to treat him to a nice dinner. Or, maybe, they will explore trading up to try and nab the pass rusher.
