The Ohio State Buckeyes 2025 team will be well represented at the NFL Combine prior to April's Draft.

The 2026 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and the first major step in the process is the NFL Combine.

Every year, the Combine descends on Indianapolis, IN, where everyone who is anyone makes the trek to Lucas Oil Stadium. While the Combine workouts are a small data point, the Combine is still a major aspect in every rookie's pre-draft process.

The 2025 Ohio State Buckeyes, they are going to be very well represented at the Combine this year.

Ohio State is sending 11 of its former players from the five potential first-rounders in Arvell Reese, Carnell Tate, Sonny Styles, Caleb Downs, and Kayden McDonald, all the way to defensive backs Davison Igbinosun and Lorenzo Styles Jr.

It's likely that none of the top-five guys will actually work out at the Combine, as that is becoming the new norm. The term "workout" should be used lightly as it is a bench press, a long jump, an agility drill, and a 40-yard dash. Everyone's eyes are glued to the 40-yard dashes, but the real meat of the combine comes off camera.

The most important part for these young players at the Combine is their interviews with every team's front office.

The interview portion of the Combine is almost like speed dating. Each team has a suite in the stadium that they make their home base for the entire week. They send out requests for the players that they want to come by, and the questions that are asked range from the weird "would you rather be a fork or a spoon" corporate questions to a film session to a whiteboard session.

These interviews are intense and often leave the prospects exhausted after a full day of meeting with potential teams.

The future NFL Buckeyes always fare well in these scenarios. Thankfully, they run their program like a professional organization, so they will never be stumped in these scenarios.

The combine might not be impactful for players like Reese, Tate, or Downs, as they are pretty solidified at the top of the Draft.

Now, for a guy like Styles who is regarded as a mid-first-rounder, he has the opportunity to impress a team in the top-10 to convince them to make the pick.

Then, the guys who are projected to go later in the draft have a huge opportunity to improve their stock. This is the first job interview for these future stars, and the Buckeyes are hoping to ace the test.
