For the year, Smith has put up 48 catches for 916 yards and 11 touchdowns. If Smith keeps this up, he will not only continue to be viewed as the frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy, but he could end up being the top pick int he 2027 NFL Draft.

In a new NFL Mock Draft for 2027 by Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski, Smith is taken first overall by the Tennessee Titans. Smith has been mocked to the Titans in other drafts, with Tennessee being the worst team in the NFL this season.

The fit of Smith going to the Titans works very well, pairing him with former first overall draft pick Cam Ward. Ward has struggled through his first two seasons in the league, but the team hasn't done a great job at protecting him.

Additionally, Ward hasn't had a wide receiver like Smith to throw the ball too, and this could change everything for the signal-caller. Smith offers his quarterbacks some comfort when the pocket collapses, and Ward could rely on him in games.

The Ohio State star has game-changing ability, and he can help turn this franchise around if drafted to them. The Titans haven't had a player like this on the roster since running back Derrick Henry first came to town.

Smith could completely change the trajectory of the Titans, offering them a solid duo if he can build chemistry with Ward. The two draft picks could help Tennessee turn into a potential contender down the line.

With the way that the Titans are looking right now, they will likely have a chance to draft Smith with the first overall pick this year. But only time will tell where the Ohio State star will be taken, and until he declares, Smith will try to help the Buckeyes go after a title this year.
