The Ohio State Buckeyes may have a lot of turnover heading into the spring, but that doesn't mean they won't be beholden to expectations.
The Ohio State Buckeyes don't rebuild.
They reload.
And that will once again be the case in 2023, as they lose multiple key starters to the NFL Draft in April.
However, that does not mean that the Buckeyes won't have high expectations heading into next season.
In fact, with Alabama and Georgia also going through their own transitions of sorts, those expectations are likely to be as high as in recent memory.
With that in mind, 247 analyst Brad Crawford predicted the win totals for every Big 10 team, with the Buckeyes projected to finish the season with 11 wins.

Those 11 wins, tied for the Big 10 lead as well, with Crawford also projecting Michigan to finish with 11 wins of their own, while Penn State came in third with 9.5 wins, and Wisconsin coming in next with eight wins.
So if the Buckeyes can live up to their lofty goals - winning both Big 10 and national titles - it will likely mean they once again had to go through their arch-rival Michigan Wolverines, alongside a very difficult conference slate.
