Ohio State Buckeyes WRs Harrison and Egbuka Lauded By On3 cover image

There might not be a better offensive duo in college football than Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka

Ohio State Buckeyes stars Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka might be the nation's best wide receiver duo in 2023.

In fact, according to On3, they are two of the nation's top three wideouts heading into next season, with Harrison coming in at No. 1, and Egbuka coming in at No. 3.

Texas Longhorns wideout Xavier Worthy holds the No. 2 spot in between the two Buckeyes.

1. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State: CJ Stroud

will be one of the top quarterback picks in this year’s NFL Draft, and he can certainly thank his receivers for plenty of help. Harrison was a massive part of Stroud’s success, dependable even when injuries took away other weapons on the Ohio State offense. He finished his season with 77 catches for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2022 and will be back to do it again this fall.

3.

Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State:

Speaking of those Ohio State weapons, Egbuka was another one that made life on Stroud quite easy last year. Egbuka managed to record 74 catches for 1,151 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also showed some versatility by taking the ball out of the backfield at times, racking up 11 carries for 87 yards on the ground.

Assuming they stay healthy in 2023, both Harrison and Egbuka are likely first-round NFL Draft picks in 2024, following in the recent footsteps of players like Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave.

Of course, there will be the variable of breaking in a new starting quarterback this spring and fall.

However, as good as Harrison and Egbuka are, the Buckeyes' pass offense should be dynamic and dangerous regardless of who is under center.
