The Ohio State Buckeyes welcome the Ohio University Bobcats to the Horseshoe on Saturday, and they must not take them for granted.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have yet another interesting test on their hands come Saturday night at Ohio Stadium, as the Bobcats of Ohio University are making the trip up from Athens. Having taken two Power Four opponents to the edge in its first two weeks, Ohio has quickly become the darling of the early college football season.

The Bobcats started by traveling to Piscataway for a date with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. They had the game in their grasp but ran out of gas before the final tick, falling 34-31. Then, in Week 2, Ohio hosted West Virginia and, shockingly, took down the Mountaineers to establish itself as a team that no one can look beyond.

Last week against Grambling State, the Ohio State Buckeyes proved that no matter the opponent, they will treat each game with the same urgency. From the opening kickoff to the final seconds, the Buckeyes respected their opponent and thoroughly dominated them all day.

Ohio State will carry that mindset into Saturday, and it is the main talking point of this week's episode of the Buckeye Breakdown podcast. BuckeyeRoundtable's podcast airs three times a week and is the home of all our weekend coverage on-site wherever the Buckeyes are playing.

Monday's episode of the show started with a recap of the craziness of Week 2 in college football. Unlike Week 1, there were no huge top-25 matchups, but there were a handful of upsets and close calls.

South Florida upset Florida, Clemson needed a heroic comeback to beat Troy, Georgia won a slugfest against Austin Peay, Iowa State beat rival Iowa with a walk-off field goal, and, of course, OU beat West Virginia in Athens. It was a crazy slate that will reverberate throughout the rest of the year.

After discussing which Big Ten teams have impressed and disappointed us over the past three weeks, we dove into why no team can take its mid-major opponents for granted. Week in and week out, the mid-major programs prove they can compete with upper-echelon teams.

We wrapped Monday's show with a discussion of who to look out for on the Bobcats' roster and a final thought on keys to the game for Ohio State.
