Sonny Styles and Lorenzo Styles Jr. dominated the NFL Combine, and Momma Styles confirmed that there will be more Styles coming in the future.

Laverna Styles sat in Lucas Oil Stadium on Thursday and Friday, beaming with pride as her two boys stole the show at the 2026 NFL Combine.

First, Sonny proved that he legitimately might be the perfect linebacker prospect that has graced a football field. He measured in at 6-foot-5, weighing over 240 lbs., but still ran a blazing 4.46 and measured off the charts.

That was about 24 hours before his brother, Lorenzo Styles Jr., also a former Buckeye, got into his 40-yard track stance and ripped off a Combine-best 4.27 official forty.

The Styles were the talk of Indianapolis, and because of that, a microphone found its way to Mrs. Styles' seat, and she was interviewed for the NFL Network. Rich Eisen, noted Michigan alum, saved the best question for last.

He asked Laverna that, on behalf of all Michigan faithful everywhere, that she could confirm that there are no more Styles' boys coming.

With a laugh, she responded, saying, "Not right now, but one day I'll have grand babies, and I'm going to make sure they will be ready to go, too. Go Bucks!"

Important to note that the Styles come from Pickerington Central High School, which is just east of Columbus, no more than 20 minutes away. Scarlet and Gray doesn't flow through their household because of Sonny and Lorenzo, it's been there well before those two put the helmet on.

College football teams, Big Ten opponents, Michigan fans, and pretty much everyone not in Buckeye Nation will be very relieved to not see any Styles on the field for years to come.

What Sonny accomplished this year at the linebcaker position was nothing short of spectacular. He didn't have his first missed tackle of the season until the Big Ten Championship game in December.

He was every bit the perfect prospect that draft scouts are projecting him to be. His athleticism stood out when he was on the field week after week, but what really stood out was his incredible football IQ.

Styles was always in the right place, making the right play.

He was a major reason that the Buckeyes got the job done and raised the trophy in 2024 and then had the best defense in College Football in 2025-26.

For now, College Football gets relief of the Styles family, but just wait a few years until the next wave of Styles' boys takes the field in Columbus.
