Texas' star wide receiver Cam Coleman put out a challenge to the Ohio State Buckeyes' defense ahead of the week two matchup.

The potential game of the year is upon us, and even while we are still five days away from game time, the talking has already begun.

Now, it needs to be stated that there is a lot of respect shared between these two programs. Ryan Day and Steve Sarkisian hold each other in high regard, and the players, for the most part, respect the other team while understanding that there is a challenge ahead of them.

On Monday, Texas' star receiver Cam Coleman fired the first shot at Ohio State. He warned the Buckeyes' defense that "we're coming," in reference to the Texas offense.

Texas is on the verge of dropping its third straight contest to the Ohio State team in as many years. Each of the first two games has been absolutely amazing. The first one was back in the College Football Playoff semifinal, where Jack Sawyer became a hero with the strip sack, scoop, and score touchdown to take the Longhorns down.

Last year was more of an old-school battle. It was two quarterbacks in their first starts for their respective programs, and it was dominated by the defenses. Those days are gone, and each of the quarterbacks on Saturday has Heisman aspirations and dreams of being a top pick in the draft.

Coleman's warning for the Ohio State defense will be fascinating to watch on Saturday night. The Buckeyes ' new-look defense was hardly challenged last Saturday against Ball State but looked the way that they were supposed to.

They were strong against the pass and were disciplined against the run. The Buckeyes' front generated a lot of pressure but netted only one sack on the day.

This will be the Buckeyes' first major test for its new look unit. Several of their key players moved on from the program, and the early returns on those replacing them are solid. There are still questions to answer, and a lot of those answers will come to the forefront against Texas.

The Longhorns offense got off to a great start on Saturday against Texas State. They hung 59 points on the Wildcats on the back of Arch Manning and Coleman.

Manning finished the day 20-27 for 305 yards and four touchdowns to one interception. Coleman was a major contributor to Manning's success by nabbing three catches for 70 yards and two scores. He was one-upped by Ryan Wingo, who had seven grabs for 121 yards and a score.

Saturday night is going to be a tale of two teams that are very similar to each other at many levels. Most importantly, both teams need a win, and now the Buckeyes have the bulletin board material to motivate them to get that win.
