Wyatt Young has issued a public apology following his costly unsportsmanlike conduct penalty

Wyatt Young has issued a public apology following his costly unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in Oklahoma State's 51–49 loss to Iowa State.

The Cowboys receiver took full responsibility for his actions after head coach Eric Morris called it the "most selfish penalty ever."

Young wrote on X:

"I take full accountability for what happened, our coaches do not teach us or allow us to act the way I did."

Drew Mestemaker also defended his teammate after the game, saying Young knows he made a mistake and needs support moving forward.

What do you think of Young's apology and Morris' response?
