Oklahoma State will celebrate three senior Cowgirls for Senior Day in Stillwater as they play host to the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday evening

STILLWATER, Okla. — The Oklahoma State Cowgirls will close out their 2025-26 regular season on a celebratory note Saturday, Feb. 28, when they welcome the Kansas Jayhawks to Gallagher-Iba Arena for a 5 p.m. CST tip-off on FS1.

It is Senior Day for the Cowgirls, marking the final home game and the conclusion of the regular-season slate as OSU (22-8, 11-6 Big 12) looks to solidify its positioning ahead of the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments.

The program will honor three seniors prior to tip-off: guards Micah Gray and Haleigh Timmer, along with center Wilnie Joseph.

Gray, the sharpshooting leader from Oklahoma City, has been electric all season. She ranks eighth nationally with a school-record 84 made three-pointers and sits sixth among active career leaders with 292 career triples (2.39 per game, ninth nationally among actives).

Averaging 14.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 40.6% from the field and 35.3% from deep across 30 starts, Gray has fueled OSU’s perimeter attack.

Timmer, a 5-11 guard from Rapid City, S.D., has added 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game with 67 made threes at a sizzling 42.7% clip, just 11 shy of OSU’s single-season top-five list, while shooting 49.6% overall.

Joseph, a 6-5 transfer center, has seen limited action in three games but brings veteran presence and will be recognized for her contributions to the program.

The Cowgirls navigated a rugged February stretch, but ultimately did fairly well. After a tough road loss at No. 19 West Virginia, OSU bounced back with an 88-77 victory at Iowa State, their first win in Ames since 2018, improving to 8-0 in bounce-back games this season.

They rank No. 28 in the NET, ninth nationally in threes made per game (9.3) and 15th in both scoring offense (82.1 ppg) and scoring margin (+18.8).

Only one team in the Big 12 has used the same starting lineup all year, and OSU has now posted double-digit conference wins in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the league’s current form.

At home, the Cowgirls are a staggering 32-2 over the past two seasons and stand 15-1 this year inside Gallagher-Iba.

Kansas (18-11, 8-9 Big 12) arrives riding a three-game winning streak, including a midweek triumph over Texas Tech.

The Jayhawks boast the nation’s ninth-best field-goal percentage (.487) and are 5-5 on the road.

All-time, OSU holds a slim 43-41 series edge, having won the last two meetings in Lawrence, though Kansas took last year’s contest in Stillwater (75-66) and has claimed the previous three inside Gallagher-Iba.

Key matchups will define how this game might go for both teams on Saturday evening.

For the Cowgirls, Gray and Timmer’s perimeter threat pairs with forward Achol Akot’s interior dominance (11.5 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 61.3% FG) and guard Jadyn Wooten’s playmaking (12.2 ppg, 5.1 apg, 149 assists, 11th on OSU’s single-season chart).

Kansas counters with guard S’Mya Nichols, who leads the country in free throws made (204) and attempts (241) while averaging 18.0 points and 4.9 assists, and forward Jaliya Davis, who posts 20.8 points and 6.4 rebounds on 63.2% shooting in 19 starts.

OSU’s home dominance and three-point volume (39% in wins) versus Kansas’ efficiency and recent momentum set up what could be a great game.

A win would give the Cowgirls 12 conference victories and valuable momentum as they fight for an improved seed in the Big 12 Tournament and a stronger NCAA Tournament projection. With seven different players reaching 20 points this season, the depth and senior leadership could prove decisive in the season finale.

Oklahoma State Player to Watch: Micah Gray

The senior guard has been the heartbeat of OSU’s offense all year and enters Senior Day chasing even more history.

Expect Gray to light up the Gallagher-Iba three-point arc one last time in the regular season, providing the spark the Cowgirls need to send their seniors out with a victory.
