Ethan Lund is headed to Taiwan.

The Oklahoma State left-hander has earned a spot on the 28-man USA Baseball Collegiate National Team roster that will compete in the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship.

For Lund, the opportunity comes after nearly two weeks of competing against some of the best college baseball players in the country.

USA Baseball finalized its roster following 11 days of workouts, practices and intrasquad scrimmages across North Carolina and Virginia. Lund survived the competitive training-camp process and will now represent the United States on the international stage.

Team USA opens pool play against Korea before facing Chinese Taipei and Japan. Three days of pool play will be followed by the semifinals and medal games as the United States chases a gold medal in the inaugural event.

Lund is also one of just four Big 12 players selected to the final roster.

The 28-man team features players from 21 schools and five conferences, with Lund representing Oklahoma State among the nation's top non-draft-eligible collegiate talent.

His selection adds another accomplishment to a breakout sophomore season.

The 6-foot-6 left-hander emerged as a major piece of the Oklahoma State pitching staff after making only seven appearances and two starts as a freshman in 2025.

Lund showed his potential early this season.

In February, he delivered six shutout innings and struck out a career-high 14 batters against Sam Houston, helping the Cowboys earn a series-clinching victory.

That performance earned Lund Big 12 Pitcher of the Week honors.

His ability to generate strikeouts continued throughout the season.

Lund finished with 100 strikeouts in 59 innings, a total that ranked sixth nationally in the NCAA's current Division I statistical listing.

That strikeout ability has already been on display during his time with USA Baseball.

Lund recorded four strikeouts over two scoreless innings during a Collegiate National Team exhibition game before earning his spot on the final roster.

Now, he'll have an opportunity to take that arsenal overseas.

For Oklahoma State, Lund's selection is another example of a young player quickly developing into a nationally recognized talent.

A year ago, he was working his way into the Cowboys' pitching rotation.

This season, he became a Big 12 Pitcher of the Week.

Now, he's wearing USA across his chest on an international stage.

Ethan Lund earned his ticket to Taiwan.

Now the Oklahoma State left-hander gets a chance to help Team USA chase gold.
