Oklahoma State’s rebuilt roster officially has its numbers. Audi Crooks keeps No. 55, Liv McGill stays with No. 23 and several transfers are making changes as Jacie Hoyt’s almost entirely new group begins establishing its Cowgirl identity ahead of a highly anticipated season.

New school. New teammates. New expectations.

For some of Oklahoma State’s newest Cowgirls, a new number.

Jacie Hoyt has essentially built an entirely new basketball team for the 2026-27 season, and now we know which numbers fans will see when that roster finally takes the floor.

Some of the biggest names are keeping things familiar. Others are making a change.

Featured stories

Only one player on the entire roster gets to say she wore the same number at Oklahoma State last season.

Welcome to the new-look Cowgirls.

Audi Crooks Isn't Changing a Thing

Let's start with the number Oklahoma State fans will probably learn fastest. No. 55.

Audi Crooks wore 55 throughout her three seasons at Iowa State.

She'll keep it at Oklahoma State.  Why change something that's worked pretty well?

Crooks left Iowa State as the program's No. 2 all-time scorer after becoming one of the biggest stars in women's college basketball.

Now 55 comes to Stillwater. Different uniform.

Same number and Oklahoma State hopes the same dominant production follows.

Liv McGill Keeps No. 23

Same story for Oklahoma State's other massive portal addition. Liv McGill will wear No. 23.

That's the number she wore at Florida while developing into an All-American and one of the country's most productive guards.

So Oklahoma State fans can start getting used to this combination:

Crooks: 55. McGill: 23.

The schools have changed. The numbers haven't.

Considering those two were regarded as the top two players in the transfer portal, those might become two pretty popular jerseys in Stillwater.

Several Transfers Are Keeping Their Identities

Crooks and McGill aren't alone. LA Sneed will remain No. 2 after wearing it at Utah.

Ellie Brueggemann keeps No. 4 after wearing it at Lindenwood.

Nene Ndiaye stays with No. 10 after wearing it at Rutgers.

Division II Player of the Year Talexa Weeter keeps No. 22 after putting up 27.5 points per game at Fort Hays State.

That's actually a cool little detail with a roster featuring this much turnover.

These players are beginning entirely new chapters of their careers without necessarily leaving every piece of the old one behind.

Some Cowgirls Are Making a Change

Then there are the new numbers.

Yuting Deng goes from No. 7 at Baylor to No. 9 at Oklahoma State.

Zoe Canfield goes from No. 5 at Missouri State to No. 15.

Canfield's change actually has some history behind it.

She wore No. 15 as a freshman at Kansas, meaning her Oklahoma State number isn't entirely new.

It's a return. Those are small details, obviously.

But they're exactly the type of things fans start learning as an almost completely unfamiliar roster begins developing its Oklahoma State identity.

Then Come the True Newcomers

Three Cowgirls didn't have another college number to bring with them.

International addition Mojca Jelenc will wear No. 3.

Belgian freshman Annie Kibedi takes No. 8.

Texas freshman Addisyn Bollinger will wear No. 24.

They're beginning their college careers—or, in Jelenc's case, her Oklahoma State college chapter—with those numbers.

Then There's No. 32

Amid all this change, there's one constant. Stailee Heard. No. 32.

Heard is the only holdover from last season's Oklahoma State roster, and she'll continue wearing the same number as she enters her fourth season with the program.

That makes her role on this team fascinating. Almost everybody around her is new.

New stars. New personalities. New combinations.

Heard is the connection between what Oklahoma State was and what Hoyt is trying to turn it into. 32 isn't changing.

You'll Need a Roster Sheet Early

That's probably the biggest takeaway from all of this. Oklahoma State fans might need some time.

This isn't a team where two transfers are joining eight familiar players. It's essentially a complete reset.

You're going to see 55 and remember Crooks. 23 becomes McGill. 22 is Weeter. 10 is Ndiaye. 9 is Deng.

Eventually it'll become second nature. But early? Keep that roster handy.

Final Thoughts

Jersey numbers aren't going to determine Oklahoma State's season.

But they're another indication that we're getting closer.

Audi Crooks: 55. Liv McGill: 23. Stailee Heard: still 32.

Some transfers are bringing familiar numbers to Stillwater.

Others are using Oklahoma State to make a change.

Nearly everyone wearing orange and black this season will be doing it for the first time.

We've spent months talking about Oklahoma State's transfer class.

Soon enough, they'll stop being transfers. They'll simply be Cowgirls.

New team. Some new numbers. Huge expectations.

Now we can finally start learning who's who.
