As the 2026 offseason kicks into high gear for Oklahoma State women’s basketball, the transfer portal has turned into a whirlwind for head coach Jacie Hoyt and the Cowgirls.

Fresh off their first NCAA Tournament win since 2021, the program faces a massive roster overhaul, with the majority of the 2025-26 squad either graduating or heading into the portal.

Multiple key contributors, including second leading scorer Jadyn Wooten, forward Achol Akot, sharpshooting guard Lena Girardi, and center Faith Acker, have already entered or announced intentions to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal. With reports indicating as many as eight players with remaining eligibility departing, the Cowgirls are projected to return just one significant rotation player from this season, that being junior guard Stailee Heard.

In response, Hoyt and her staff wasted no time rebuilding. Their first major portal addition is a statement: Talexa Weeter, the NCAA Division II Player of the Year from Fort Hays State. The 6-foot guard led all of Division II in scoring at 27.5 points per game, while adding 8.9 rebounds and shooting nearly 40% from three-point range.

This transfer portal tracker will provide ongoing updates on departures, commitments, and potential targets as the Cowgirls work to reshape their roster for the 2026-27 season in the Big 12. Stay tuned for moves, player profiles, and analysis on how this Oklahoma State Women’s team is navigating one of the most fluid offseasons in recent program history.
