Jacie Hoyt ignites a roster overhaul, landing elite transfers Audi Crooks and Liv McGill to pair with dynamic high school talent for a dominant Big 12 campaign

If you’re an Oklahoma State women’s basketball fan, you should be feeling pretty good right now.

Head coach Jacie Hoyt and her staff went hard in the transfer portal this offseason and added some serious talent. They also brought in a few high school prospects who could develop into impact players.

This is one of the more aggressive roster overhauls we’ve seen in a while.

Transfer Portal Additions

Featured stories

The headliner is obviously Audi Crooks. The 6-3 center from Iowa State is the No. 1 ranked transfer in the country and a legit All-American.

She averaged a ridiculous 25.8 points per game (2nd in all of Division I) while shooting 64.9% from the field.

That’s dominance. She’s going to be a problem in the paint for the rest of the Big 12.

Then you’ve got Liv McGill from Florida. She’s ranked as the No. 2 transfer by CBS Sports and comes in as an elite point guard who dropped 22.5 PPG last season.

She brings speed, playmaking, and scoring punch to the backcourt.

Nene Ndiaye out of Rutgers is another big get.

Versatile forward who put up 14.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. She should fit right in and give OSU some frontcourt flexibility.

They also added shooting with Ellie Brueggemann from Lindenwood. She’s a sharpshooter who averaged 13.2 PPG over her career and shot 37.5% from three across 95 starts.

LA Sneed from Utah brings Big 12 experience as a former five-star recruit and All-Big 12 Freshman Team selection.

Alexa Weeter, the Division II National Player of the Year from Fort Hays State, led all of D-II in scoring at 27.5 PPG, that kind of scoring mentality doesn’t disappear when you move up a level.

Rounding out the group are Yuting Deng from Baylor, and Zoe Canfield from Missouri State, who adds valuable depth and multiple years of DI experience in the backcourt.

This transfer class has size, skill, shooting, and proven scorers.

It’s exactly what OSU needed after last season.

High School Recruiting Class

On the high school side, the Cowboys landed three solid prospects:

- Addisyn Bollinger (5’11” Guard, Lubbock, TX) — A dynamic scorer out of Texas who should be able to step in and contribute early.

- Annie Kibedi (6’2” Forward, Antwerp, Belgium) — Averaged 15.6 PPG and 8.8 RPG for the Belgian National Team. International talent with nice size and production.

- Bralyn Peck (6’1” Forward, Decatur, TX) — Texas 4A Player of the Year and State Tournament MVP. She’s a winner who knows how to perform when it matters.

It’s not a massive high school class, but the quality is there, especially with two Texas kids who understand the culture and competition level in this state.

Overall, Jacie Hoyt is clearly trying to build a competitive roster quickly.

The portal additions alone give them veteran leadership and instant scoring. Adding Crooks and McGill in particular gives them two potential All-Conference type players.

If the new transfers mesh with the returning players and the high school kids develop, Oklahoma State could make some real noise in the Big 12 next season.

This is an exciting time for Cowgirl basketball. They went out and got proven producers instead of hoping for gradual improvement. Now it’s all about chemistry and how fast they can gel.
