Viktor Hovland's comeback story isn't over yet. After a weather delay, the former Oklahoma State star birdied Nos. 14 and 15 to erase a two-shot deficit and force a Monday playoff with Scottie Scheffler. Meanwhile, U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark finished tied for fifth despite saying he was "runni
Does Hovland Beat Scheffler in a playoff?

Sunday at the Travelers Championship proved exactly why.
Viktor Hovland entered the final round with a one-shot lead and a chance to capture his first PGA Tour victory since the 2025 Valspar Championship.
Instead, he endured a roller coaster that still hasn't reached its ending.
Hovland struggled out of the gate, falling two shots behind Scottie Scheffler as the world No. 1 made his move early.
Just when it looked like momentum had shifted for good, Mother Nature stepped in.
A lengthy weather delay suspended play, forcing players off the course and creating uncertainty over whether the tournament would even finish Sunday.
When play finally resumed, Hovland looked like a different golfer.
The former Oklahoma State star immediately birdied the 14th hole.
Then birdied the 15th.
Just like that, he had caught Scheffler and was back in a tie for the lead.
Sometimes, all it takes is a reset.
From there, both Hovland and Scheffler traded pars coming home in one of the most dramatic finishes of the PGA Tour season.
Standing over a 27-foot birdie putt on the 18th green, Hovland had a chance to win the tournament outright.
The putt narrowly missed.
With darkness and the weather delay leaving no time to complete a playoff, officials suspended play.
Now, Hovland and Scheffler will return Monday morning at 8 a.m. to replay the 18th hole and decide the Travelers Championship.
For Hovland, it's another opportunity to complete what has already been an incredible comeback.
Just one week ago, he missed the cut at the U.S. Open.
Instead of taking time off, he spent nearly four hours on the driving range, hitting roughly 230 golf balls while searching for answers.
Those answers have carried him to within one hole of another PGA Tour victory.
No matter what happens Monday morning, one thing has become clear.
The Viktor Hovland who won the 2023 Tour Championship appears to be back.
His ball-striking has returned.
His confidence has returned.
And now, he's one hole away from adding another trophy to his résumé.
Another former Oklahoma State golfer also continued his outstanding run.
Fresh off capturing the U.S. Open a week ago, Wyndham Clark battled through what he admitted was an exhausting week filled with media obligations, celebrations and everything that comes with winning a major championship.
Clark said he was "running on fumes," yet still managed to finish tied for fifth at the Travelers Championship.
It's another impressive result for a player who has quickly become one of the hottest golfers in the world.
For Oklahoma State golf, it was another memorable week.
One former Cowboy is one hole away from another PGA Tour victory.
Another followed a major championship with yet another top-five finish.
The momentum continues.
Now, all eyes turn to Monday morning, where Hovland has one more chance to finish the job.
