Game Times Announced For Oklahoma Football's SEC Conference Schedule

ESPN dropped some important updates on Oklahoma’s 2026 football schedule this week. While we still don’t have exact kickoff times for every game, we now have approximate windows for most of the SEC portion of the schedule, plus the exact start time for the Red River Shootout.

The annual showdown against Texas in Dallas from the Cotton Bowl is locked in for 2:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ABC or ESPN. The game has been played in that time slot since OU and Texas' move to the SEC, as 2:30 p.m. CT, historically speaking has been the conference's premier television window.

Here’s what we know so far for the SEC games:

Sept. 26 - at Georgia - Flex 2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. CT

Oct. 10 – vs Texas in Dallas, 2:30 p.m. CT (ABC/ESPN)

Oct. 17 - vs Kentucky – Flex 2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. CT

Oct. 24 - at Mississippi State – Flex 2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. CT

Oct. 31 - vs South Carolina – Flex 2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. CT

Nov. 7 - at Florida – Flex 2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. CT

Nov. 14 - vs Ole Miss – Afternoon 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Nov. 21 - vs Texas A&M – Early 11 a.m.-noon

Nov. 28 - at Missouri – Afternoon 2:30-3:30 p.m.

This is the third year of the SEC’s deal with ESPN where they set TV windows for all conference games after Week 3.

This season also marks the first year of the nine-game SEC schedule, so every conference game is going to matter even more.

So far, eight of OU’s nine SEC games landed in either Flex or Afternoon windows. Only the Texas A&M home game is set for an early kick. That’s good news if you like night football, a lot of these games still have a chance to end up under the lights depending on how the season plays out.

We already knew a few non-conference times:

Sept. 5 vs UTEP – Time TBA (SEC Network+)

Sept. 12 at Michigan – 11 a.m. CT (FOX)

Sept. 19 vs New Mexico – 6:30 p.m. CT (ESPN2)

Overall, this schedule setup gives Brent Venables’ team a mix of afternoon and potential night games, with some flexibility built in. The early window against Texas A&M is the only real outlier.
