Oregon Ducks' star tight end Kenyon Sadiq is projected to be a late first-round pick by this AFC contender.

Oregon Ducks' star tight end Kenyon Sadiq has the tools to be the next great tight end in the NFL, but where will he get the opportunity to do it?

On Wednesday, ESPN Draft Analyst Field Yates released his Mock Draft 2.0, and in it, he had only one Duck make the cut for the first round in Sadiq.

The talented pass catcher took a leap in the 2025 season and showed that he has a lot of what it takes to be a great tight end in the NFL. He finished the season with 51 catches for 560 yards and eight touchdowns. Each of those numbers was a career high for the tight end.

While those stats don't jump off the page, the tape absolutely stands out.

Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing in at 245 lbs., Sadiq's athletic ability is elite. He moves like a wide receiver and is nearly impossible to tackle in the open field. Whoever gets their hands on Sadiq will get a ball of clay that has no limits to its potential.

In this mock, Yates has the AFC Runner-Up, the Denver Broncos, selecting Sadiq with pick No. 30.

Yates indicates that Sadiq's draft range starts way earlier than pick No. 30, and if he drops all the way to 30, the value here would be through the roof. The Broncos don't need all that much on the offensive side. They were a little Jekyll and Hyde this year, and a lot of that was due to the play of their quarterback, Bo Nix.

Nix was up and down, but when it was time to win football games, he flipped the switch and found a way to get the job done and win the game. Thanks to that, the Bronocs had the No. 1 seed in the AFC with the inside track to the Super Bowl.

That was the case until the most bizarre injury took place, and Bo Nix actually broke his ankle on the second-to-last play of the Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills.

They rolled into the AFC Championship with Jarret Stidham behind center, and it didn't go so well against the New England Patriots.

There are not many better places that Sadiq could land than Denver. With Nix at quarterback and Sean Payton calling the plays, Sadiq could become one of the next great tight ends in the NFL.
