The Oregon Ducks' season came to a close in early January at the hands of the eventual National Champion, the Indiana Hoosiers.
Oregon was beaten thoroughly in that football game, and for some, that has left a lasting taste in their mouth. However, that wasn't the story of their entire season.
The Ducks put together a year that most other programs could only dream of in 2025. They finished with 13 wins and just two losses, both to the Hoosiers. They had a handful of instant classic victories and two road trips that would have been played for forever had the season ended in better fashion.
To get to 13 victories, you need the players to do it, and the Ducks had some of the nation's best. PFF released their Top 101 players from the 2025 season, and the Ducks received four nods in the group.
A'Mauri Washington put together a really solid season in the interior of the Ducks' defensive line. He finished the year with 33 tackles, seven pass breakups, and 1.5 sacks. He was a projected top-40 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but made the decision to return to Oregon for his senior season. While Washington only secured 1.5 sacks, he registered a whopping 22 pressures on the year and was a real force up front for Oregon. He accompanied that with an 83.8 run game grade.
Pregnon is regarded by PFF as the best guard in all of America in 2025. He is a projected first-round pick, while also registering a PFF grade of 86.5, which is nearly 40 spots away from the next guard on the list. He graded it out head and shoulders (knees and toes) ahead of the rest of the guards in America and definitely in the Power Four conferences.
He was the only offensive guard to earn over an 85 grade in both the run and pass game.
Thieneman made the play of the early season when he intercepted Drew Allar to end the Ducks' huge win over the Penn State Nittany Lions. After transferring from Purdue, his game ascended at an alarming rate. He graded out as a 91.0, which was the best Power Four safety in America. He was the best Safety in America.
After a year behind quarterback Dillon Gabriel, Moore took the reins of the Oregon Program and led them to an incredible year. Statistically, he was one of the best in the country and was projected to be the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. He passed up a major playcheck to return to Oregon with another chance at the National Championship.
He had 30 big-time throws, which was tied for the most in America. He had a 90.2 PFF grade, which was sixth best in the country.
