NFL Analyst Names Four Oregon Ducks to His All-Combine Team cover image

These four Ducks did nothing but raise their draft stock this weekend, and they obviously caught many people's eyes.

This past weekend, the NFL conducted their combine in which young players, hopeful to leave their mark, have the opportunity to raise their stock prior to the NFL Draft. It's never an absolute indicator of who will succeed or fail at the next level, but for NFL teams, it's defintely useful information.

The University of Oregon was well-represented, despite being short roughly three players who would definitely be drafted: Dante Moore, A'Mauri Washington, and Bear Alexander.

Regardless, the Ducks that showed up showed out, many of them catching eyes and being listed as 'draft risers'.

NFL.com analyst Nick Shook created an All-Combine team based on the performances of the athletes over the weekend. There were two Ducks who stood out in a big way that made the list, and two others who didn't make the biggest splash, but whose impact was felt nonetheless.

Kenyon Sadiq

Tight end Kenyon Sadiq wasn't just a member of the All-Combine team; he may have been the outright winner of the entire weekend.

He tested off the charts by running the fastest 40-yard dash since 2003 and also recording a higher vertical than Vince Carter with a 43.5'' vertical. It wasn't just his on-field work, either. According to sources, Sadiq was extremely polished in team interviews, even telling scouts everyone else on the field's responsibilities as well as his own.

Whoever lands Sadiq will be very lucky.

Dillon Thieneman

Sadiq was already viewed incredibly favorably going into the weekend. That's not to say that Dillon Thieneman wasn't, but there might not have been a bigger 'draft riser' than Thieneman at the combine.

His 40-yard dash and vertical jump, like Sadiq's, were also tremendous, but his work in the individual DB drills was what caught scouts' eyes. His hip fluidity and on-field burst matched his testing numbers, which will be a scary sight at the next level.

Thieneman worked himself into easily being a first-round pick, and could even work all the way up to a top-15 pick.

Bryce Boettcher (Honorable Mention)

Oregon's two-sport athlete, Bryce Boettcher, also made the list after a solid performance this weekend.

He won't be a first-round pick like the first two guys on this list, but his combine score of 74 made him the 7th-ranked LB at the combine, and in a deep LB draft, that's solid.

He's slated by their metrics to be an average-level backup to a special teams player in his rookie season.

Jadon Canady (Honorable Mention)

Last, but not least, Oregon's Jadon Canady, who also made the list as an honorable mention.

While his size and overall strength were knocks against him this weekend, his versatility in the slot as a nickel could not be denied. He was ranked as a good backup with the potential to develop into a starter.

If you're not a first-round pick, that's about all you can ask for in the NFL.
