This top Oregon Ducks wide receiver has opened up on his recovery from a major injury.
Oregon Ducks wide receiver Dakorien Moore entered his freshman campaign full of hope in 2025, and why not?
Moore was a five-star recruit Oregon fans were longing to see, and when he was on the field last season, he was impressive. In 11 games, he caught 34 passes for 497 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 14.6 yards per catch.
However, late in the season, Moore suffered a knee injury that knocked him out the final four games of the year.
The Duncanville, Tx. native is on the road to recovery, and he recently offered some blunt thoughts on his rehab.
“I’ll say I'm to 100 percent or at least I feel like I'm 100 percent," Moore said. "Just mainly, stay in the training room last year. Being that I came from high school, I wasn't really in the training room a lot. Growing up, you hear a lot about getting in the training room, go do this, that and the third, but you know, you're young, you don't really feel like you've got to get in there. You go back the next day, and you feel good."

"Coming up here, being able to work every single day, it's definitely a toll on your body," Moore added. "So, being that I got injured last year, definitely like coming into my experience, to getting to actually stay in the training room.”
Oregon has lost both tight end Kenyon Sadiq and wide receiver Malik Benson to then NFL Draft this offseason, so there should be plenty of opportunities for Moore in 2026.
Look for the 5-foot-11 burner to represent a potential breakout player for the Ducks next season, especially with quarterback Dante Moore returning for another year.
Oregon won 13 games for the second straight campaign in 2025, but once again, it was routed in the College Football Playoff, falling to Indiana in the Peach Bowl. The season prior, the Ducks were hammered by Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.
Can Oregon finally break through next season? We'll see, and if it does, you can bet Moore will be a significant part of it.
