The Oregon Ducks have landed a talented wide receiver for their 2027 class.
Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are making another addition to their 2027 class as five-star wide receiver Dakota Guerrant has committed to the program.
Guerrant chose Oregon over Michigan, Texas A&M, and Ohio State. He is the fourth-ranked wide receiver in the 2027 class according to 247 Sports.
"This was always my dream school growing up," Guerrant said about committing to Oregon on the Pat McAfee Show.
Guerrant has had an impressive career at Harper Woods High School. In the 2023 season, he hauled in 49 receptions for 1,110 yards and 15 touchdowns. In 2024, he had 37 receptions for 670 yards.
Guerrant was very impressive in 2025, finishing with 55 receptions for 1,074 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Guerrant has helped the Ducks solidify themselves as having one of the top classes for 2027. Lanning has established Oregon as an elite program in recent years.

Oregon has a promising outlook over the next few years and will be a contender to win the National Championship in the 2026 season. Star quarterback Dante Moore returned for another season despite the chance to go early in the first round if he had declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.
In the 2025 season, Moore completed 71.8 percent of his passes for 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Moore also added to their rushing attack with 156 yards and two touchdowns on 73 carries. He can help them contend this season before going off to the NFL Draft.
However, the Ducks will be prepared when Moore moves on, as they brought in Dylan Raiola as a transfer. Raiola was effective as a starting quarterback at Nebraska in 2025, completing 72.4 percent of his passes for 2,000 yards, 18 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
With the quarterback position in place, Oregon will be able to maximize the talent of incoming receivers like Dakota Guerrant.
