An NFL analyst had a bold take about Dante Moore and Arch Manning.

Oregon Ducks star quarterback Dante Moore is one of the best players in all of College Football. If he had declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, he was projected to be the second overall pick.

However, Moore decided to return to the Ducks for one more season and will enter the 2027 NFL Draft.

This has now sparked a debate between Moore and Arch Manning over who will be the top quarterback off the board in next year's draft.

NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah weighed in on the debate, stating, "I'll go with the Oregon quarterback over Arch [Manning]. I'll go Dante Moore."

Moore had a phenomenal season for the Ducks in 2025, completing 71.8 percent of his passes for 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He added 156 yards and two touchdowns on 73 carries on the ground.

The 20-year-old quarterback led Oregon to the College Football Playoff Semifinals, where they lost to Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza and the Indiana Hoosiers.

With Moore returning and 15 games of experience under his belt, he could lead the Ducks to a National Championship in his second season as a starter.

Manning is in a similar situation, as he completed 61.4 percent of his passes for 3,163 yards, 26 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in his first year as a starter. He rushed for 399 yards and 10 touchdowns while also catching one pass for a touchdown.

However, the Texas Longhorns missed out on the College Football Playoff, finishing with a 10-3 record.

If Moore has another impressive season in 2026 for Oregon, he could be the top selection in the 2027 NFL Draft.

However, it was a risk for him to return to school, as many quarterbacks like Cade Klubnik and Drew Allar fell from projected first-round picks to mid-round selections after disappointing final seasons in college.

Moore has showcased his elite ability, and in another year under head coach Dan Lanning, he will look to get the Ducks to their first National Championship Game since the 2014 season.
