The Oregon Ducks will have quite a few players taken in this year's NFL Draft. There could be at a minimum six Ducks selected over the course of seven rounds, with possibly three going on day one.
Of those three, arguably the most talented of them all is TE Kenyon Sadiq. At 6'3 250 lbs, he's a massive frame, but it's what he does with his frame that caught eyes this offseason. At the NFL combine, he had one of the greatest performances ever by a TE highlighted by his 4.38 40-yard dash.
Thanks to the blend of his production last season in Eugene and his impressive combine performance, he's been vaulted up to a top-20 pick and, in some mock drafts, a top-15 pick.
During Oregon's Pro Day the other day, Kenyon Sadiq shared his expectations for another Oregon TE who's next in line, and his comments may surprise you.

Per Lily Crane, Sadiq said, “(Jamari) can do whatever he wants … So, if he wants to be the first 10 of the board, he's going to be the first 10 off the board next year.” There aren't many people who would know this kind of information better than someone who shared a TE room with him for the last year.
Last season with Oregon, while Sadiq snagged far more touchdowns than Johnson, the rest of their numbers were closer than you might think. Johnson recorded 510 yards in 2025, just 50 less than Sadiq, on 19 fewer catches as well. The ability is there.
Johnson really came on towards the end of the season for the Ducks. In his final game of the year against the National Champion Hoosiers, Johnson recorded four catches for a career-high 83 yards and a touchdown.
If he really is set to burst onto the scene this year as Sadiq predicted, Johnson would become the third Oregon TE to be drafted, following Jake Ferguson and Sadiq. It'll be a lot of fun to see the type of chemistry he and Dante Moore are able to build together next season.
