Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq is expected to be a first-round talent in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Sadiq could go inside the top 10 this year. The Ducks standout had an amazing season in 2025, and will be a huge loss for quarterback Dante Moore in the upcoming campaign.
Sadiq boosted his stock in a few ways. The big talking point from Friday's workout was his 40-yard dash time. His 4.39 time is the best-ever by a tight end.
However, he was impressive with his vertical jump and broad jump.
Per the NFL, Sadiq's vertical jump was 43.5", the second-best ever by a tight end. His 11'1" broad jump was the third-best ever by a tight end.
Before taking part in the workout, Sadiq said he wanted to make a statement with his performance.
"The versatility I think I bring, explosive pass game. I'm going to go run a great 40 and all those things tomorrow," Sadiq said, via the Chargers. "Just showing how explosive I am in the pass game but in the run game as well so I can help a team all around...
"I want to make a statement and have a dominant Combine performance. One of the best to do it."
Sadiq certainly did what he came to Indianapolis to do. He left the combine having arguably the best ever workout by a tight end.
Sadiq will be on a lot of draft boards for league teams in April.
Kirby Lee-Imagn ImagesWith more teams running 12 personnel, tight ends are becoming a bigger part of the NFL game. Sadiq believes his versatility is his best strength.
"Just displaying my capabilities mentally but also the attributes I can bring to a team not just snap count, but on special teams as well," he said. "Being versatile is a big part of my game.
"It's just sharpening up all the aspects of my game to being an elite level."
Sadiq's numbers in the workout show how versatile he can be in the league. It wouldn't be a surprise if the former Ducks tight end becomes a focal point for an NFL offense in Week 1.
