This Oregon Ducks sleeper could land with one of the NFL's top teams.
The Oregon Ducks don't have a ton of talent projected to fly off the board over the first couple of rounds of the NFL Draft this month. It's basically just Kenyon Sadiq, Dillon Thieneman and Emmanuel Pregnon early on.
However, Oregon does have some mid-round sleepers who could make an impact on the NFL level, and one of them is wide receiver Malik Benson.
Benson has definitely flown under the radar in a draft class that is pretty loaded with talent at receiver, and he even received limited recognition with the Ducks.
The speedster spent one season in Eugene after transferring over from Florida State and hauled in 43 receptions for 719 yards and six touchdowns in 2025, averaging a robust 16.7 yards per catch.
Benson is viewed as a Day 3 pick, but there is one exciting team that appears to be very interested in the Lansing, Ks. native: the Kansas City Chiefs.
NFL insider Ryan Fowler reported just over a week ago that Benson was slated to have a virtual meeting with the Chiefs, and general manager Brett Veach was in attendance. So was offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and wide receivers coach Chad O'Shea.

Benson actually began his collegiate tenure at Hutchinson Community College in 2021 and spent two years there before transferring to Alabama.
It was a bit of a carousel for Benson from that point moving forward, as he spent one season with the Crimson Tide before transferring to Florida State. From there, he moved on to Oregon after just one year with the Seminoles.
Benson did not produce much at either of his previous Division I stops, but he definitely made his mark with the Ducks this past season.
The Chiefs could certainly use another wide receiver alongside of Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, and Benson could represent a really interesting fit there.
Benson has also drawn interest from other contending NFL teams, such as the Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks. His stock appears to be rising, so we will have to see where Benson ultimately lands in a couple of weeks.
