Oregon Ducks star quarterback Dante Moore has received a major draft projection.

Oregon Ducks star Dante Moore has established himself as one of the top prospects for the 2027 NFL Draft.

Moore was projected to be the second overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but he opted to stay at Oregon for another season.

In Bleacher Report's recent mock draft for the 2027 NFL Draft, they have Moore going to the Arizona Cardinals with the third overall pick.

The Cardinals are in need of a franchise quarterback, as veterans Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew II are unlikely to be long-term answers at the position.

Arizona selected quarterback Carson Beck in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, but he will need to impress in his rookie campaign to warrant them not selecting another quarterback.

Moore could be that quarterback, as he is one of the top prospects at that position, along with Darian Mensah, Arch Manning, Drew Mestemaker, and CJ Carr.

It's a talented quarterback class, making the upcoming season important for determining the order in which they should go off the board in the draft.

Moore was very impressive in the 2025 season for the Ducks, completing 71.8 percent of his passes for 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns.

He is a quality passer and proved his value as Oregon had a very successful year, reaching the College Football Playoff Semifinal, where they fell to the Indiana Hoosiers.

The Ducks have a talented roster again in 2026, especially with Moore's return, and will be in the hunt to win the National Championship.

While one of Moore's key weapons, Kenyon Sadiq, is off to the NFL, he will still have a talented tight end in Jamari Johnson. Johnson was productive in 2025, hauling in 32 receptions for 510 yards and three touchdowns.

He will have a bigger role with Sadiq gone, but with the established chemistry with Moore, it should be a seamless transition.

If Moore has another strong season and leads Oregon on a deep playoff run, he will solidify his place as one of the players in the 2027 NFL Draft.
