Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore has received a major draft projection.

Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore is one of the top prospects ahead of the 2027 NFL Draft. Moore was projected to go early in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft before deciding to stay at Oregon for another year.

He remains one of the top prospects heading into 2027, as Dane Brugler of The Athletic had Moore going third overall to the Cleveland Browns in his early mock draft.

Moore is coming off a great season for the Ducks, as he completed 71.8 percent of his passes for 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns.

Moore led Oregon to the College Football Playoff, where they advanced all the way to the Semifinal before falling to the eventual champion Indiana Hoosiers.

He proved to be a great passer for the Ducks, but struggled with turnovers against Indiana, as he threw an interception and fumbled twice.

With only 20 games of starting experience, with five at UCLA and 15 at Oregon, he will be well-experienced after another season in college.

Moore and the Ducks are one of the favorites to win the National Championship next season, but will be without one of their top targets, as tight end Kenyon Sadiq was drafted by the New York Jets with the 16th overall pick.

Sadiq was a weapon for Oregon, hauling in 51 receptions for 560 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025.

With Sadiq out, they will lean on their other talented tight end, Jamari Johnson, to step up into an even bigger role. Johnson was very productive in 2025, as he had 32 receptions for 510 yards and three touchdowns.

Dan Lanning has brought in a ton of talent, and Moore has shown he's capable of leading the Ducks on a deep playoff run, which gives hope for next season as they look to get back to the National Championship Game for the first time since the 2014 season.
