They may be flying under the radar right now, but they have a shot at a special season.
Much of the talk around the University of Oregon right now is around their football team's recruiting journey as they navigate the offseason, and how poor of a season their basketball team just had.
One thing that's been flying under the radar until now is how well Oregon's baseball team has been playing. Early in the season, down in Vegas, the Ducks won the Live Like Lou Las Vegas Classic.
They were so good that eight of the eleven total players selected to the All-Tournament team were Oregon Ducks. This was very early in the season, though, against non-conference opponents.
What they've done lately has been just as, if not far more impressive, and they're starting to catch more eyes nationally.

They swept George Mason and Youngstown State in a four-game series, Indiana in a three-game series, and Xavier and UC San Diego in a two-game series.
A little over a week ago, the Ducks cracked the top-25, and after their continued dominance, they've jumped up the rankings even further, now falling at 15th.
For the season, they sit at 23-5 and are an outstanding 15-2 while playing in Eugene.
The Ducks will want to continue to look good so that they can receive a national seed, which is given to the top-16 teams in the country. Currently, according to ESPN, they are the 12th-ranked seed in the national seedings.
Each school that is given a national seed has the hosting rights for the NCAA Tournament's Regionals. They've only hosted four regionals before, with the most recent time being in 2025.
They are looking for their second-ever College World Series appearance, first since 1954. They have three series remaining this year against teams in the top-25, being UCLA, USC, and Nebraska. If they can win all those, they could be serious contenders this year.
