Penn State head coach Matt Campbell hangs another sign to further show that he is at Penn State for more than just winning football games.

New Penn State head coach Matt Campbell is bringing a new, albeit refreshing, perspective to the Nittany Lion Football program.

Campbell is about more than just putting a winner on the football field; he is about creating very quality men after they leave his program. He is also going to be committed to building this thing from the ground up with a strong foundation.

Part of that strong and firm foundation is his "Football Cultural Philosophy."

The Penn State football signage went viral this week as he showed off the Nittany Lion Code of Conduct, and now the Cultural Philosophy has hit the internet.

Campbell is very clearly a big sign guy, but the message on the board is a powerful one. The new Nittany Lion philosophy is that they will operate as a team, they will grow mentally, physically, and spiritually, they will compete, they will have respect, and they will become the "class of the Big Ten."

Nowhere on the board does it say that they are here to just win football games. The players in the Penn State program are here to grow as men, they are here to compete, and they are here to represent those who have come before them.

If they do all of those things, the winning will take care of itself.

Now, the fascinating part of this philosophy is that he does call out that they will "deserve to be conference champions" (if they do things right) and they will be the "class of the Big Ten."

Those messages look great on paper, and they look cool on a big board in the weight room. It's one thing to say it, it's another thing to prove it on the field and to do it in the best conference in America.

Campbell has a really tough task on his hands. He has the challenge and opportunity to turn around one of the most storied programs in all of America. To do that, he is going to need all of the things that he listed, along with the most elite players in America.

Even then, it will still be hard to become the class of the Big Ten.

The message is great; it is now up to the Nittany Lions to take it onto the field and show it to the world.
