Penn State Nittany Lions legend Micah Parsons revealed a new update on his injury recovery.

The Penn State Nittany Lions have a few elite players currently in the NFL. Most notably is Green Bay Packers superstar Micah Parsons.

Last offseason, Parsons was traded to the Packers from the Dallas Cowboys. In his first year with the Packers, the superstar pass rusher did not disappoint.

Parsons was able to play in 14 games for Green Bay, racking up 41 total tackles to go along with 12.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a defended pass. He lived up to the two first-round picks and Kenny Clark trade price that it cost to acquire him.

Unfortunately, late in the season against the Denver Broncos, Parsons went down with a season-ending torn ACL.

Despite the setback, Parsons quickly locked in on coming back better than ever. If there was ever a player who could accomplish that goal, the work ethic and heart that Parsons has shown during his football career prove that he is ready for the challenge.

Keeping that in mind, Parsons took to social media recently to share an update about his injury recovery.

While it's obvious that he is just beginning to start his physical recovery, the update was a positive one for the Packers.

During his time at Penn State, Parsons was a one-man wrecking crew. He played in two season for the Nittany Lions, racking up 191 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, and five defended passes. That production led to him being selected by the Cowboys with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

It has been a few years since Parsons played at Penn State. However, the fan base isn't going to be forgetting him anytime soon.

Hopefully, the road to recovery stays smooth with no setbacks for the 26-year-old star. Green Bay badly needs him back on the field and the Nittany Lions' faithful are excited to see him back in action.

Any progress is good progress, and Parsons' latest update certainly shows that. We'll make sure to keep you covered when more updates become available as Parsons works his way back onto the field.
