Penn State quarterback Drew Allar draws a dream scenario in Matt Miller's seven-round mock draft.

A seven-round mock draft does deserve a round of applause. It's equal parts hard as it is crazy to do because there are going to be far more incorrect predictions than correct ones.

On Monday, ESPN analyst Matt Miller released his first seven-round mock draft, and it was good for the Nittany Lions

The draft for Penn State was very bottom-heavy as a lot of Nittany Lions are going to go in rounds six and seven. The other Nittany Lions landed in some really nice locations, including quarterback Drew Allar. Let's see where everyone landed.

Pick No. 19: Carolina Panthers Select Vega Ioane

Ioane is regarded as the best interior offensive lineman in the draft, and to some, he is seen as the best lineman in the draft, period. Ioane has a rare blend of size, strength, and athleticism, and will absolutely solidify the interior of whichever offensive line he is selected to.

Pick No. 61: Los Angeles Rams Select Drew Allar

This is a match made in heaven for Allar, who needs a ton of development to save his game. Mechanically, he lost his way throughout the course of his four years at Penn State and, towards the end, struggled to hit the easiest of throws. If he lands in the correct place in the NFL, he can flip his trajectory on its head immediately.

LA would be that place. Allar could go to quarterback school under Sean McVay and become the protege under Matt Stafford. It would be an incredible fit for Allar that could jumpstart his career.

Pick No. 83: Carolina Panthers Select Zakee Wheatley

The Panthers double-dip at Penn State by selecting their two best prospects. They go with an offensive lineman in the first round, and they come back by taking Whealtey in the third round. Wheatley is going to be a very unique talent in the NFL, and he would go to a defense in Carolina that is definitely on an upward trend.

Pick No. 106: Houston Texans Select Nicholas Singleton

Nicholas Singleton could be one of the surprise, breakout stars in the NFL Draft. He is going to be a late-round pick, and if he lands in the right spot, he could have an Isaiah Pacheco arc where he makes a legitimate impact on a team that is playoff-bound.

Pick No. 112: Dallas Cowboys Select Dani Dennis-Sutton

Dani Dennis-Sutton is an attractive prospect for many NFL franchises. He has a body type that is perfect to rush the passer, and if he goes to Dallas, the hope is that he could be part of the replacement of Micah Parsons.

Pick No. 161: Pittsburgh Steelers Select Kaytron Allen

Allen stays in the state of Pennsylvania after the Steelers select the running back. Pittsburgh is at a fascinating point in its franchise's history as they are somewhere between competing and tanking. Allen is a piece that would help them compete to win football games in the short term.

Pick No. `170: Denver Broncos Select Drew Shelton

Depth late for the Denver Broncos, who believe that they should have been competing for the Super Bowl this year. They were robbed of that opportunity when Bo Nix broke his ankle in the Divisional Round. They go depth late, and Shelton lands with a contender.

Pick No. 226: Cincinnati Bengals Select Zane Durant

Last but not least, the Bengals select Zane Durant at the front end of the seventh round. Cincinnati is pulling out all of the stops to save its defense, and grabbing Durant late would be a nice depth addition on that side of the ball.
