There are some incredible football games on next year's 2026 college football schedule.
From week one to week 14 and then beyond to the end of January, there are some really, really good games on the slate on a weekly basis. College Football Report did the research; they grabbed the most expensive tickets for each game on the season next year, and Penn State got one notch on the belt.
That Nittany Lions game is the rumored White Out against USC.
Penn State hosts the Trojans in week six in the middle of October. A cross-country trip for the Southern California Trojans to what will be a fall set afternoon in Happy Valley will be one heck of a challenge.
The start time for this game is still to be determined, but if it is a high-leverage matchup, it is likely that Big Noon Kickoff will ruin yet another incredible atmosphere.
The current get-in price, according to SeatGeek, for that game currently sits at $281. It is in the same neighborhood as the Iron Bowl, the Texas vs LSU game.
While this is Penn State's only game on this list, it underscores the schedule that they were blessed with this season. They got the long end of the stick in terms of their Big Ten draw, and they should benefit from it.
USC's visit to eastern Pennsylvania will be the second hardest game on its schedule, behind a trip to Ann Arbor. Other than those two, there is only one matchup that should catch anyone's attention, and it is a trip out west to Washington.
If they can go at least 1-2 in those three games, they will be a College Football Playoff team without much of a question.
The tradeoff is not the most exciting games and exciting opponents, and that is okay. Some of the top games on this list include the Texas vs. Texas A&M rivalry, Ohio State vs. Texas in week two, Notre Dame vs. Michigan, and Ohio State vs. Michigan, to name a few.
All throughout the calendar next year, there are some truly amazing football games, and Penn State has one of them.
