SMU women’s golf stars Mackenzie Lee and Emily Odwin landed All-ACC honors before leading the Mustangs into the NCAA Waco Regional.
DALLAS - SMU women’s golf added another major resume boost Friday as Mackenzie Lee and Emily Odwin were named to the 2025-26 All-ACC Women’s Golf Team.
For Lee, it’s the fourth all-conference honor of her career. For Odwin, it’s her second, giving the Mustangs two proven senior leaders heading into NCAA Regional play.

Lee’s selection continues one of the best careers in SMU program history. The North Little Rock, Arkansas native now joins Kate Ackerson as the only Mustangs to earn all-conference recognition four times.
She previously received the honor twice in the AAC and once in the ACC before this latest nod.
Her numbers explain why she’s in rare company. Lee owns 13 SMU records, including career scoring average at 71.51, career birdies with 504 and counting scores with 134.
She also holds the school record for low round with a 62. This season has added another strong chapter, including her first college tournament victory at the Huntington Bank Collegiate in her final regular-season start.
Odwin has built her own standout legacy in just two and a half seasons on the Hilltop. The St. James, Barbados native ranks second in SMU history in career scoring average at 72.20, behind only Lee.
Her 71.68 scoring average this season is the best ever by a Mustang senior and ranks fourth overall in program history.

Odwin also has 48 career rounds of par or better, second at SMU behind Lee’s 88. She has produced 13 career top-10 finishes in 32 starts, including five this season, and leads the Mustangs with 20 par-or-better rounds in 2025-26.
Now the focus shifts from awards to postseason pressure. Lee, Odwin and SMU are headed to the NCAA Waco Regional from May 11-13, where the Mustangs will try to extend a record-setting season.
