SMU’s Brooke Bunton and Kamiya Beck earn U.S. U-18 WNT spots for the 2026 Pinatar Cup in Spain, facing Sweden and Hungary in international play.

Brooke Bunton and Kamiya Beck have been selected to represent the United States on the Under-18 Women’s National Team for the 2026 Pinatar Cup in Spain, a prestigious youth international tournament that will run from Feb. 25 through March 6 in San Pedro del Pinatar.

For Bunton, a redshirt freshman midfielder from Green Cove Springs, Florida, the call-up is the latest milestone in an already impressive young career.

She most recently trained with U.S. Soccer at the U-18/U-19 Women’s National Team Domestic Camp in November 2025.

Her consistent presence in the U.S. youth national team pipeline highlights her technical skill, vision and composure in the midfield.

Beck, a dynamic forward from Lancaster, Texas, is set to begin her collegiate career with the Mustangs this fall, but she’s no stranger to elite competition.

Beck previously attended the U-17 Spring National Camp in 2025 and continues to climb the ranks within U.S. Soccer’s development system. Known for her pace and attacking instincts, she brings goal-scoring upside to the national squad.

The U.S. U-18 team, coached by Toni Pressley, will face Sweden’s U-18 squad on March 3 and Hungary’s U-19 team on March 6 at Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain.

The tournament champion will be determined through a round-robin format, with standings decided by total points and standard international tiebreakers such as goal differential and goals scored.

All 20 players on this roster were born in 2008, placing them among the nation’s top prospects in their age group.

While the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland will primarily feature older players, strong performances in Spain could elevate several of these athletes into future consideration.

For SMU soccer, having two players on the U.S. U-18 Women’s National Team roster underscores the program’s growing national profile.

As Bunton and Beck prepare to compete overseas, they carry not only the U.S. crest ... but also the momentum of a Mustangs program on the rise.
