The Stanford Cardinal are adding pieces to the roster for the 2026-27 campaign.

Stanford basketball is cooking up something good. Despite finishing with 20 or more wins for the second straight season, the Cardinal missed out on their goal of making the NCAA tournament, extending their tournament drought to 12 years.

Even though the Cardinal are set to lose several important pieces for 2026-27, including star freshman Ebuka Okorie to the NBA Draft, they have made sure to stay focused on bringing players in that can fill those voids.

That rebuild begins with a five-player high school recruiting class set to come to campus this fall. But the Cardinal have also taken to the transfer portal to find those necessary pieces, bringing in multiple players from other schools who head coach Kyle Smith believes can be big contributors this coming season.

So far, the Cardinal have only signed two transfers but have plenty of time to add more. Here is a transfer portal tracker for Stanford basketball, which will be continuously updated as more players are land on The Farm.

A key player for Seattle University last season — averaging 7.2 points, 4.7 rebounds 0.5 assists — Maurer comes to The Farm as a junior looking to firmly put his name on the map. Expected to compete to be the starting center, the 7-foot, 230 pound Maurer is a strong player on both ends of the player, but will need to prove that he has the physicality to keep up at the Power Four level.

Prior to spending last season at Seattle U, Maurer spent his freshman year at Grand Canyon University, where he averaged 1.0 point, 0.8 rebounds and 0.2 assists in 20 games off the bench.

As a high school prospect out of Cascade Christian in Medford, Oregon, Maurer was rated as a three-star recruit and generated a ton of interest from programs across the country.

Before committing to GCU, Maurer received offers from Sacramento State and Portland but also had interest from BYU, Washington State, Oregon State and New Mexico to be a preferred walk-on.

The addition of Christian Bliss comes at the perfect time for Stanford, right after Ebuka Okorie departed for the NBA Draft. The Conference USA's Freshman of the Year for the 2025-26 season, Bliss' debut in college basketball was a memorable one after spending two years on the bench with Virginia. He transferred to Delaware and started all 31 games for the Fightin' Blue Hens.

He averaged 16.7 points, 5.9 assists and 5.2 rebounds for Delaware. Now, Bliss comes to The Farm as an expected starter who will look to make a name for himself as a Power Four player.

With three years of eligibility left, Bliss is hungry and a real breakout player candidate for the Cardinal. As a high school prospect, Bliss was rated as a three-star recruit and received 13 offers from schools such as Villanova, Xavier, Miami and St. John's before choosing Virginia.
