From marquee stars to under-the-radar contributors, Stanford's recent classes continue to stock NFL rosters

Football season is back. Both college programs and NFL teams are knee-deep in training camp, signaling the official start of the 2026 campaign. Last year, the football seasons between both levels were very eventful, with the Indiana Hoosiers winning their first ever national title in football and the Seattle Seahawks hoisting only their second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.

But now, everything starts over again, with college programs like Stanford eager to prove that they can compete among the best of the best.

Historically, Stanford has been a national powerhouse, with six major bowl wins in the last 15 years. Churning out several future football stars, the Cardinal have a good track record of sending guys to the NFL and seeing them do great things.

Once again, the Cardinal have a lot of representation in the league ahead of the 2026 season, with multiple players from last year's team going pro.

From stars Sam Roush and Collin Wright to more under-the-radar guys like CJ Williams and Jordan Washington, the Cardinal still saw major bright spots despite going 4-8 last season.

While it is still the preseason and there is a long way to go before the final 53-man roster is set for week one, several former Cardinal stars are currently on NFL teams, either fighting for a spot on the final 53 or getting ready to become big stars for their respective franchises.
