The former Orange star has been selected to the College Football Hall of Fame.

Syracuse legend Marvin Harrison is a two-time Hall of Fame member.

The National Football Foundation announced Wednesday that Harrison is among the 18 players and four coaches named to the 2026 class of the College Football Hall of Fame. They will be inducted Dec. 8 in a ceremony at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Harrison becomes the 20th person to play or coach at Syracuse to be named to the college hall.

He already is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, having been inducted in Canton, Ohio, in 2016. Eight other former Syracuse players have been enshrined there.

Harrison played with the Orange from 1992-95 and was named a first-team All-American as a kick returner in his senior season. As a wide receiver, his school record for receiving yards (2,728) stood until 2017, when Steve Ishmael broke it. He also set a then-Syracuse season record in 1995 of 1,131 receiving yards on the way to his third All-Big East selection.

The Indianapolis Colts selected Harrison with the No. 19 overall pick of the 1996 NFL Draft. His first pro seasons were solid, but it wasn’t until 1999, with second-year quarterback Peyton Manning throwing the ball, that Harrison’s career took off.

Beginning in 1999, he was selected to eight consecutive Pro Bowl games. He was named a first-team All-Pro three times (1999, 2002 and 2006) and to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s All-2000s team.

The Colts won the Super Bowl following the 2006 season.

Harrison spent 13 seasons in the NFL – all with the Colts – and caught 1,102 passes for 14,580 yards and 128 touchdowns. His TD mark is good for ninth on the NFL career list.
