The Orange will host the Clemson Tigers at the JMA Wireless Dome, looking to beat their rivals for the second straight year.
The Syracuse Orange football team was able to grab its first ACC win in over a year with an exciting 31-30 victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday night in Chapel Hill, N.C. The win not only snaps an 11-game losing streak against ACC teams, but also keeps the possibility of a bowl game invitation in play for the Orange (3-4). Head coach Fran Brown and his team need three wins in their final five games to accomplish that feat.
Syracuse returns to Central New York for back-to-back home games, with game one of the two this Saturday (noon ET) against the SMU Mustangs.
On Monday, the kickoff time was confirmed for the following Saturday's matchup in the JMA Wireless Dome. Syracuse will host the Clemson Tigers on Nov. 7.

Noon ET. Prior to this weekend's game against SMU, Syracuse had had four consecutive night games within ACC play.
Orange's recent upsets against Clemson
Over the course of the last 15 years, the Clemson football program has been one of the most successful in the country. Led by head coach Dabo Swinney, the Tigers have won two national championships, appeared in seven college football playoffs, and have won nine ACC titles.
Syracuse has been able to defeat Clemson twice since 2017. The Orange won 34-21 in last years game. In 2017, when Clemson was ranked as the No. 2 team in the country, Syracuse defeated the Tigers on a Friday night in the JMA Wireless Dome 27-24.
The Orange are projected to be an underdog in this year's matchup.
Scouting the Tigers
Clemson sits at 4-3 on the season, with two of the three losses coming in ACC play.
After being out blown 51-10 by the LSU Tigers in Week 1, the Tigers then went on to win three straight games before suffering their two conference defeats. Clemson fell to Miami on the road 41-13 and to Virginia Tech 20-16.
The Tigers are on the road this weekend against the Florida State Seminoles. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET in Tallahassee, Fla. Clemson, as of Monday night, is listed as 6.5-point underdog against the Seminoles.
