Anthony Jennings is a four-star wide receiver who could help elevate the Orange's future offense.

While we haven't even played the 2026 season yet, the Syracuse University football team is already focused on building its future rosters.

And according to Hayes Fawcett of On3, Fran Brown's program is in the mix for Florida high school receiver Anthony Jennings.

Jennings, who graduates high school in 2027, is listed a four-star recruit. He's listed Syracuse as one of his top five programs, with Florida, Auburn, Florida State and Maryland also in the mix.

He's 6'1, 175 pounds and ranked as the No. 8 wide receiver in the state of Florida by Rivals. He plays his high school football at Dillard and will have his senior year coming up this fall.

How Syracuse looks at the wide receiver position

If Jennings were to sign with Syracuse, he'd presumably be looking for an instant chance to contribute in 2027. As a result, he'll be looking to see how many Syracuse wideouts are set to graduate in spring of 2027.

Umari Hatcher - will graduate in spring in 2027

Calvin Russell - will be a sophomore in 2027, unless he redshirts due to injury

Darius Johnson - will be a redshirt sophomore in 2027

Darien Williams - will be a junior in 2027

Tyshawn Russell - will be a redshirt senior in 2027

Cole Weaver - will be a redshirt senior in 2027

Matthew Outten - will be a redshirt sophomore in 2027

Zamondre Merriweather - will be a redshirt senior in 2027

Amar'e Gough - will be a sophomore in 2027

Elijah Moore - will be a redshirt junior in 2027

Clearly, Syracuse will still have a number of options on the roster by the time Jennings would get to campus, but as usual, if he's good enough, they'll find reps for him.

Calvin Russell is expected to be the star of the future offense, but it's unclear how much we'll see him on the field this season after he tore his Achilles in spring practice.
