The final additions to the basketball alumni roster were announced Thursday.

The Syracuse alumni team 'Boeheim's Army' will once again take the court in the annual summer basketball tournament known as the "TBT." On Thursday, 'Boeheim's Army' announced the final version of its roster for the annual event.

What is Boeheim's Army?

Since the tournament's inception in 2015, 'Boeheim's Army' is a team comprised of former Syracuse basketball players, with the name inspired by former head coach Jim Boeheim.

Over the past decade, 'Boeheim's Army' has had one of the most passionate fanbases in the event. Each summer, the team has been comprised of different players. Since 2015, the Orange alumni team has been a No. 1 seed multiple times, and it won the championship in 2021.

According to the event's website, The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is:

"..a high-energy single elimination tournament that culminates in a $2 million, winner-take-all championship game.

Since tipping off in 2014, TBT has showcased alumni teams from many of the nation’s top programs, including Kentucky, Kansas, UConn, Louisville, Syracuse, Ohio State, Houston, and 2025 Champions, Wichita State. Year after year, the tournament reunites some of college basketball’s biggest stars and fan favorites, bringing them back to campus to compete in front of the same passionate crowds that cheered them on during their college careers. "

After having 61 teams in 2025, 'TBT' will feature only 16 teams, with eight alumni teams and eight non-alumni teams competing on two separate sides of a bracket.

The alumni bracket will take place on college campuses across the country.

The eight alumni teams will be matched up in best-of-three series, while the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship will be single-elimination.

Boeheim's Army scheduled games

Syracuse will play the Seton Hall alumni team in the first round, best-of-three, with Game 1 being held in the Walsh Gymnasium, home of the Pirates.

The following two games will be held in Syracuse at the OnCenter War Memorial. Game 2 is scheduled for July 23 while Game 3 is July 24, if necessary.

If Syracuse wins the series, it will advance to take on the Kentucky-Louisville alumni matchup winner. The game between Syracuse and Kentucky-Louisville would be a single elimination held on July 26.

Who are the final additions to the 2026 Boeheim's Army roster?

Tyson Walker -A former Michigan State Spartan, Walker played professionally last season in France. The 6-foot-0 guard grew up in Queens, N.Y. and played for the Phoenix Suns summer league team in 2024. He was a two-time All-Big 10 selection.

JaCorey Williams - A 6-foot-8 forward, Williams has spent almost a decade playing professionally overseas. The former Conference USA player of the Year at Middle Tennessee State, he also played for Arkansas. Williams also was a part of the Cleveland Cavaliers G-League affiliate, the Canton Charge.

Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu - A 6-foot-10 center, the international player has spent the past few seasons playing professionally. He played for Texas-Arlington and Memphis in a three-year college career.

Ty Nichols - A 6-foot-3 guard, Nichols played all four seasons of his collegiate career at Division III Keene State. Following his college career, Nichols spent time playing professionally in leagues based in Germany, Poland and Greece.

Why non-alumni are allowed on TBT Team this season and rest of Boeheim's Army roster

While the overall playing time of each of the additions is still to be determined, the playing careers of each addition is impressive. The reason why some Syracuse fans may be surprised is that none of these players have a connection to Syracuse basketball.  The alumni division allows a maximum of four players who did not play at each respective school to join that team in the TBT this season.

Other confirmed players on this year's roster include Eric Devendorf, Wes Johnson, Elijah Hughes, Buddy and Jimmy Boeheim and Cole Swider.
